FIBSU Congratulates Oba Rashidi Ladoja On Emergence As 44th Olubadan

The Federation of Ibadan Students Union (FIBSU), under the leadership of Aare Giwa Kamorudeen Olawale, has extended its heartfelt congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his official proclamation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

In a statement issued on Monday, the student body described Oba Ladoja’s ascension as “a historic moment for the ancient city and a symbol of the enduring heritage of Ibadan.”

Aare Giwa, speaking on behalf of the union, said.

“FIBSU celebrates the emergence of Oba Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland. His wisdom, experience, and unwavering commitment to the progress of Ibadan will inspire the younger generation to uphold our cherished traditions while pursuing modern development.

“We pray that your reign brings peace, unity, and prosperity to Ibadanland, and we assure Your Imperial Majesty of the unflinching support of Ibadan students at home and in the diaspora.”

FIBSU reaffirmed its commitment to preserving Ibadan’s cultural values and partnering with the palace on youth and educational initiatives during the new Olubadan’s reign
