Nigerian rapper and actor, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has stirred excitement on social media after announcing that he is officially off the singles market.
The multiple award-winning entertainer made the disclosure on Thursday via a post on his Instagram handle, where he unveiled a picture of himself and his wife-to-be. In the post, he wrote a heartfelt caption: “It’s been a long time coming, and having to do this with you is one of the best decisions of my life.”
Interestingly, the ‘Bop Daddy’ crooner opted to shield his bride’s face from the camera, a move that has fuelled speculation and curiosity among fans. The photo has since attracted congratulatory messages from celebrities and colleagues within the music and movie industry.
While many of his admirers expressed joy at the announcement, others admitted to being stunned, noting that Falz has carefully shielded his private life from public scrutiny.
Known for his witty style of blending music with social commentary, the 33-year-old son of renowned lawyer and human rights activist, Femi Falana (SAN), has often spoken about drawing a fine line between fame and personal privacy. His decision to conceal the identity of his fiancée appears to align with that philosophy.
Falz, a trained lawyer and founder of Bahd Guys Entertainment, has yet to disclose details about the wedding plans. For now, fans remain in suspense, eagerly waiting for the day when the mystery bride will finally be revealed.
