CAC Shifts New Fees Implementation To October 1

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has again shifted the implementation of its revised service fees to October 1, 2025.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Commission explained that the deferment was to allow for the full stabilisation of its new company registration portal before the middle of September.

“Consequently, and in order to deliver optimum value to its various stakeholders, the Commission has further deferred the implementation of the revised fees for its services. The new fees will now come into effect on 1st October, 2025,” the statement read.

The Commission said the decision underscores its resolve to ensure a smooth transition into the new service regime, stressing that efficiency and customer satisfaction remain its top priorities.

“The Commission sincerely appreciates the patience, understanding and cooperation of our customers and other stakeholders during this critical phase of transformation,” it added.

The management reaffirmed its commitment to building an intelligent, customer-centric registry that meets global standards.

The CAC had in June announced plans to review certain service fees effective August 1. However, the rollout was shifted to September 1 after the Commission deferred the implementation of new fees and penalties for document downloads on its upgraded portal.

With the latest announcement, the new charges are now scheduled to commence on October 1.
