The All Progressives Congress (APC) has named Abdulrahman Bashir Haske as Chairman of the Youth Advisory Committee for the August 16, 2025, Ganye, Adamawa State Assembly Constituency by-election.
The appointment, endorsed by the APC’s National Vice Chairman (North-East), Comrade Mustapha Salihu, positions Haske to work closely with members of the National Campaign Council Sub-Committee. The sub-committee includes Hon. Nuruddeen Hamanyero, Barr. Dedan Pwadi Hoki, Dr. Tahir Abubakar Girei, Musa Terrang (PhD), Lamido Hamza Abdullah and Salihu Mohammed Harbingiwa.
Other members are Huzaifa Sanusi, Idris Zubairu Numan, Sa’adu Adamu Namtari, Hon. Khalil Sajo, Dauda Kushu, Isah Garba Mayo, Lukman D. Wise, Shehu Baba-Jacob and Hon. Yakubu Bello Bashir.
Following his appointment, Haske paid a courtesy visit to the National Security Adviser (NSA) and APC leader in Adamawa State, Nuhu Ribadu. Discussions centred on the upcoming by-election, party strategies, and strengthening political alliances. Haske lauded the NSA’s leadership style, inclusivity, and achievements.
Reiterating its commitment to a peaceful, transparent, and credible poll, the APC called on members, supporters, and the public to support Haske and the Youth Advisory Committee in delivering on their mandate for the by-election.
