Less than 24 hours after Comfort Emmanson was arrested for disrupting an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos, another incident has emerged involving a female passenger allegedly preventing an Ibom Air aircraft from departing Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
In a video circulating on social media, the woman recording the scene claimed the passenger had “hijacked” the flight, delaying boarding and preventing travellers from continuing their journey.
The eyewitness expressed frustration, noting that many passengers were not residents of Uyo and had connecting flights to catch, including her own scheduled trip to Abuja earlier in the morning.
At the time of filing this report, neither Ibom Air nor the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) had issued an official statement on the incident.
