The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Thursday morning held a closed-door meeting with two governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The visiting governors were Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State and Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State. The meeting took place in Abuja and was confirmed by Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, through a post on his official Facebook page.
“Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, and his Ebonyi State counterpart, Francis Nwifuru, during their visit to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, in Abuja a few minutes ago,” Olayinka wrote.
The meeting comes weeks after Wike hosted Julius Abure, factional National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), at his Abuja residence. Abure had described the visit as strictly private, asserting his right to engage with any public office holder.
