Popular comedian Seyi Law has drawn widespread criticism over his sarcastic reaction to a viral video showing Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, serving food at an event in Imo State.
The video, which has gained significant traction on social media, captures the former Anambra State governor personally distributing food and interacting with guests in a seemingly humble manner.
Reposting the clip via his X handle, Seyi Law mocked the gesture, implying it was a performative act rather than a sincere display of humility.

His remarks were met with swift backlash from Obi’s supporters, who flooded the comment section in defence of the LP flagbearer’s character and history of public modesty.
