
The Omupo Youth Digital Economy Empowerment Program (OYDEEP) has extended congratulations to Dr. Adetola Ariyike Salau on her recent appointment as the Special Adviser on STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine) and Corporate Sector Engagement to the Honourable Minister of Education, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a congratulatory message issued by the youth-led initiative, Dr. Salau was described as a “true daughter of the soil and a shining ambassador of Omupo,” whose latest national appointment is a source of pride and inspiration for the entire community.
The youth body commended the federal government for recognizing Dr. Salau’s stellar track record in education reform and STEMM development, both at the state and national levels.
The message emphasized that her appointment serves as a testament to her unwavering commitment to advancing Nigeria’s education sector.

OYDEEP further charged Dr. Salau to use her new platform to advocate for the inclusion and development of youth from Omupo and other underrepresented communities, particularly in science and technology-driven fields.

The youth group expressed optimism that her presence in the federal education space will foster stronger partnerships between the government and private sector stakeholders in delivering innovative and inclusive educational solutions for Nigerian students.
“Her voice will not only be influential in shaping national education policy but also serve as a beacon of hope and progress for our beloved Omupo,” the group stated.

Dr. Adetola Ariyike Salau, a renowned Nigerian-American educator, previously served as Special Adviser on Education, Policy Formulation and Human Capital Development to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State and Senior Special Assistant on Education to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.
Her new federal role places her at the heart of national efforts to transform Nigeria’s education system through innovation, strategic collaboration, and STEMM-based capacity building.
