
The engineering community in Offa, Kwara State, is aglow with pride and celebratio as two of its members, Engr. Fatai Kolawole Yusuf and Engr. Dr. Waheed Oyeloa Balogun, were conferred with highly coveted professional fellowships, marking major milestones in their careers.
In separate statements issued by the Public Relations Officer of Offa Engineers, Muhammed Kabeer Olalekan, the society, under the leadership of Engr. Maruf Olalekan Ajenifuja, congratulated Engr. Yusuf on his induction as a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers (FNIFEngM), a subsidiary of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
“This prestigious fellowship is a resounding testament to his unwavering dedication, exemplary leadership, and significant contributions to the field of environmental engineering. Engr. Yusuf’s commitment to the profession and his impactful service to the NSE Offa Branch continue to inspire us all,” the statement reads.
Engr. Yusuf, a registered member of the NSE (MNSE), has long been regarded as a pillar in the environmental engineering space. His latest recognition is seen as not just personal, but also a proud moment for the entire Offa engineering community.
The group also extended congratulations to Engr. Dr. Waheed Oyeloa Balogun, who was conferred with the title of Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE).
“His unwavering dedication, significant contributions, and exemplary commitment to the engineering profession in Nigeria have rightly earned him this honor. Dr. Oyeloa’s hard work and professional impact are a beacon of inspiration, particularly for engineers in Offa and beyond,” Offa Engineers said in another congratulatory message.
