Kwara United players have commenced a 10-day break sanctioned by the club’s management, following their hard-fought victory in the President Federation Cup final against Abakaliki FC.
The Harmony Boys clinched the title with a 4-3 win on penalties after a goalless draw in regulation time at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, last Saturday.
Players and officials are expected to resume camp on Thursday, July 11, as preparations begin for the upcoming football season.
Kwara United will represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup, which kicks off in September.
The 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season is scheduled to begin on Friday, August 22.
