The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has been honoured with a Meritorious Award at the annual graduation ceremonies of Offa Grammar School and Hamdalat International School.
The awards were for its remarkable contributions to education, youth empowerment, and community development in Kwara State.
The events, held today at the schools’ premises in Offa, brought together parents, dignitaries, and community leaders to celebrate the academic feats of graduating students while acknowledging the efforts of key partners like the MOK Foundation.
Receiving the award on behalf of the foundation’s founder, QS Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, the Executive Director, Mr. Saheed Lawal, described the recognition as a testament to the foundation’s enduring commitment to educational excellence.
He praised QS Kayode for his relentless passion for uplifting young minds, particularly through numerous initiatives targeted at students of Offa Grammar School.
In a gesture that further highlighted its dedication to educational development, the foundation announced WAEC scholarships for top-performing SS2 students across the Science, Arts, and Commercial streams of Offa Grammar School. Cash donations were also presented to both schools to support their academic and extracurricular activities.
“MOK will continue to be a partner in progress,” Mr. Lawal affirmed during the presentation, pledging that the foundation will remain committed to fostering opportunities that empower the youth of Offa and beyond.
