The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, has assured that all vacant positions in the Olubadan Chieftaincy line will be filled immediately.
Oba Ladoja gave this assurance while receiving the Asipa Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi, at his Lagos residence.
In a statement issued by his Media Aide, Adeola Oloko, Ladoja clarified that he was not in Ibadan at the time of the demise of the 43rd Olubadan, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, who recently joined his ancestors.
The former Oyo State Governor paid glowing tributes to the late monarch, describing him as a leader who lived a meaningful and honourable life.
“Kabiyesi Olakulehin lived an impactful life and gave a good account of himself,” he said, adding that filling outstanding chieftaincy vacancies would proceed without unnecessary delay.
In his remarks, Oba Kola-Daisi expressed condolences to Ladoja and pledged his unwavering loyalty and support to the Olubadan-designate.
