Ikeja Electric Plc has announced a scheduled 25-day power outage affecting parts of Lagos State.
The electricity distribution company disclosed this in a public notice issued via its official social media channels on Friday.
According to the notice, the planned outage will run from Monday, July 28 to Thursday, August 21, 2025, with power supply expected to be disrupted daily between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

“Please be informed that the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) will carry out scheduled maintenance on the Omotosho–Ikeja West 330kV transmission line from July 28 to August 21, 2025, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily,” the notice read in part.
It further noted that during the maintenance period, customers under the Ikeja Electric network may experience intermittent power supply and load shedding.
