The Dan Iya Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate and Hasken Lafiagi Emirate, Engr. Suleiman Bolakale Kawu, has extended heartfelt condolences to Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim Ajia, the Dan Amanar of Fune and 2023 PDP House of Representatives candidate, on the passing of his beloved mother, Hajiya Mariam Ajia, the revered matriarch of the Ajia Ogbonde family of Ilorin.
In a condolence message issued in Abuja, Engr. Kawu described the late Hajiya Mariam Ajia as a virtuous woman, a devoted mother, and a beacon of strength whose life was defined by piety, discipline, and service to her family and community.
“The death of Mama Mariam Ajia is a painful loss not just to her immediate family but to the Ilorin Emirate as a whole,” the statement read. “She represented the finest of our values, humility, kindness, and faith. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, especially through her son, Alhaji Ibrahim Ajia, whose dedication to service and philanthropy is a testament to his mother’s influence.”
While praying for the repose of her soul, Engr. Kawu urged the Ajia family to take solace in the exemplary life she lived and the prayers of countless admirers who held her in the highest esteem.
He prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive her shortcomings, admit her into Aljannat al-Firdaus, and grant the entire family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
