Former First Lady, Aisha Buhari, along with her children, has relocated to the Kaduna residence of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Her arrival at the residence was met with a warm reception led by the Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe, who headed the official welcoming delegation.
The Kaduna house served as President Buhari’s last residence before his final medical trip to London, where he passed away on 13 June 2025, after a protracted illness that remained undisclosed to the public.
His remains were returned to Nigeria on 15 June and laid to rest in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State. The burial was conducted with full state honours, including military rites befitting a former Head of State.
