A man identified as Mr. Louis Nwachukwu, an employee of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), was found dead in a hotel room in the Mpape area of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
Sources familiar with the incident told DAILY POST that the deceased had checked into the facility alongside a woman identified as Miss Helen Raymond.
While the exact cause of death remains undetermined, Miss Raymond reportedly informed authorities that Mr. Nwachukwu fell asleep following a sexual encounter and failed to regain consciousness.
The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, when contacted, confirmed the development but noted that the incident is currently under investigation.
Mr. Nwachukwu’s remains have been transferred to a mortuary pending autopsy and further inquiry.
