[PHOTOS] Moshood Adeleke Hosts Sallah Football Match To Empower Offa Youths

As part of efforts to foster unity and youth engagement after the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, Honourable Moshood Adeleke hosted a grassroots novelty football match in Offa, Kwara State.

Adeleke is the founder of the Honourable Moshood Adeleke Foundation, a House of Representatives aspirant for Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency and Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State.

The event was held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at St Claire’s Girls School field, Offa.

It drew a large crowd of enthusiastic football lovers and youth groups who came together in celebration of sportsmanship and community bonding.

Organised by supporters and members of the Honourable Moshood Adeleke Foundation, the match aimed to appreciate Adeleke’s consistent support for sports development and youth empowerment in the constituency.

The highly entertaining match featured two rising football academies in the area, Biola Football Academy (ABFA) and PELE Boys Football Academy (PBFA).

Spectators were thrilled by nine goals in total, with ABFA emerging victorious with a 6–3 win over PBFA.

To further motivate the teams, the winning side received a cash prize of ₦50,000, while the runners-up took home ₦30,000.

In addition, both teams were presented with new footballs as tokens of encouragement.

Speaking at the sidelines of the event, Hon. Adeleke reiterated his commitment to creating more opportunities for young talents in sports, education, and entrepreneurship.

“Our youths are full of potential, and we must continue to support them with meaningful platforms like this,” he said.

The event is one in a series of youth-centred initiatives being championed by the Honourable Moshood Adeleke Foundation to promote development and inclusion at the grassroots level.
