The grand opening of the facility, which combines cinema, nightlife, fitness, and dining under one roof, marks a significant milestone in the socio-economic development of Offa.

The newly unveiled facility boasts an impressive array of amenities designed to cater to diverse leisure needs. Visitors can enjoy the state-of-the-art Starlight Cinema, experience nightlife at the upscale Sapphire Night Club, maintain fitness routines at the modern gym, or relax at the luxurious spa.

The complex also features multiple dining options, retail shops, a scenic rooftop terrace, an outdoor swimming pool, and generous parking facilities, positioning itself as a comprehensive entertainment destination.

The grand opening ceremony attracted a who-is-who of Offa’s political, traditional, and business elite.

Asiwaju of Offa, Alhaji Tajudeen Owoyemi, who served as chief guest of honour, performed the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony for the cinema before an audience of distinguished guests.

In his remarks, he hailed the project as “a game-changing development that elevates Offa’s status as a tourism and entertainment destination.”

Echoing these sentiments, Offa Local Government Chairman Alhaji Sulaiman Laaro Olatunji Omituntun praised Aare Ajeigbe’s visionary leadership, noting that Scene City exemplifies the kind of private sector investment needed to drive community development. State legislators Hon. Abdulwaheed Gbenga Yusuf and Hon. Seun Ogunniyi Adato emphasized the project’s potential to create employment opportunities and stimulate ancillary businesses in the area.

The occasion also served as a platform for broader recognition of Aare Ajeigbe’s contributions to community development. In an emotional address, Aare Ajeigbe expressed deep gratitude to his family, friends, and supporters. He highlighted the significant influence of his sister, Alhaja Sariyu Ajibola Olagoke, and her husband, Alhaji Mashood Kajogbola Olagoke, in his journey.

He also acknowledged the substantial support from Alhaji Asiwaju Tajudeen Owoyemi, who, despite being in the same business, offered immense help in bringing this project to fruition.

Special recognition was given to Qs Muyideen Kayode Okunola (MOK), alongside others who played critical roles in realising Scene City.
