The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has published a summary of its April 2025 performance report, announcing a total revenue of N5.89 trillion for the period under review.
The report, released via the company’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on Thursday, highlighted a Profit After Tax (PAT) of N748 billion. It further disclosed that crude oil and condensate production averaged 1,606 barrels per day, while natural gas production stood at 7,473 million standard cubic feet per day.
Between January and March 2025, NNPCL reported statutory payments totalling N4.225 trillion to the federation, underscoring its fiscal contribution to the Nigerian economy.
Key infrastructure projects were also addressed in the report. The Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) Gas Pipeline is reported to be 90% complete, while the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline has reached 70% completion.
Additional operational metrics revealed 54% petrol availability across the company’s retail stations nationwide and 97% upstream pipeline availability as of April 2025.
This release marks the first performance disclosure under the leadership of Bayo Ojulari, who was appointed Group CEO of NNPCL by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on April 2, 2025. It comes amid longstanding public demands for transparency, following decades of perceived opacity in the company’s operations.
