Made In Offa Honours Highest JAMB Scorer, Ms. Oke Aminat Abiodun At 4th Edition

The Made in Offa (MIO) Initiative honoured Miss Oke Aminat Abiodun, a student of Offa Grammar School, for her exceptional performance in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), at its 4th Annual Award Ceremony held on Saturday at Imperial Event Center, Offa, Kwara State.

Miss Aminat, who scored an outstanding 348 in the 2025 JAMB examination, emerged as the highest scorer in the local government area.

The MIO organisers therefore awarded her a cash prize of ₦100,000.

In addition to the monetary award, the MIO team announced that Offa Tech Expo and the Amass Foundation would jointly sponsor a full university scholarship for Miss Aminat to study at Summit University, Offa. The scholarship covers her full tuition and academic support for the duration of her programme.

The team said it’s to ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder her academic journey.

Speaking during the presentation, the Convener of the Made in Offa Initiative, Mr. Balogun Ayodeji Kingfahd, praised Miss Aminat’s brilliance and described her achievement as “a shining example of what the youth of Offa can accomplish with discipline, focus, and the right support.”

He added that MIO remains committed to celebrating excellence not just in business and creativity, but also in education and innovation.

The 4th edition of the Made in Offa Awards not only showcased excellence in entrepreneurship, art, fashion, and innovation but also reaffirmed the town’s enduring value for academic distinction and youth empowerment.
