As part of efforts to support the faithful and strengthen community ties during the Eid al-Adha season, friends and associates of Engr. Suleiman Bolakale Kawu have disbursed the sum of N50 million across the length and breadth of Kwara State.
The gesture, made in the spirit of compassion and solidarity, benefitted thousands of Muslim faithful across the sixteen local government areas of the state. The initiative, though quietly executed, reflects Engr. Kawu’s longstanding commitment to the welfare of the people and his belief in shared prosperity.
Key beneficiaries of the support package include Islamic scholars, Imams, party stalwarts across political divides, traditional rulers, and community leaders who continue to play critical roles in promoting peace, driving development, and fostering communal cohesion across the state.
A representative of the distribution committee, Alhaji Tajudeen Zulu Oloje noted that the intervention was not politically motivated but borne out of a deep appreciation of the season’s spiritual significance and the need to stand with the people at a time when economic hardship continues to bite.
“This is a personal and collective expression of love for the people, especially those who have stood firmly by truth, justice, and equity. The aim is to lighten the burden of the season and spread joy to as many homes as possible,” the Zulu-Oloje added.
Engr. Suleiman Bolakale Kawu, known for his humility, accessibility, and philanthropic spirit, expressed appreciation to his friends and associates for initiating and coordinating the outreach, while reaffirming his continued commitment to the progress of Kwara State and the wellbeing of its people.
