Dr. Muheebah Dankaka Urges Nigerians to Embody Unity, Obedience, and Tolerance During Eid-al-Adha Celebrations

As Muslims across Nigeria and the world celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid-al-Adha, Dr. Muheebah Dankaka, Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), has extended heartfelt congratulations to the faithful. In her message,

Dr. Dankaka emphasized the significance of Eid-al-Adha as a time for spiritual reflection, prayer, selflessness, and compassion towards those less fortunate.

Dr. Dankaka reminded Nigerians of the importance of emulating the example set by Prophet Ibrahim, who demonstrated unwavering devotion to Allah through his willingness to sacrifice his son.

She encouraged Muslims to use this period to strengthen their bonds with family and friends, share in the blessings of the day, and show generosity towards those in need.

Beyond the celebrations, Dr. Dankaka urged Nigerians to embody the values of unity, obedience, and tolerance.

She called on Muslims to pray for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration, citing the President’s commitment to the welfare of all Nigerians.

Dr. Dankaka expressed optimism that the current challenges would soon give way to peace and prosperity, referencing the adage “often time there is No peace without war.”

As Nigerians mark this auspicious occasion, Dr. Dankaka prayed that Eid-al-Adha would bring spiritual renewal, enlightenment, and an abundance of joy, peace, and prosperity to all. She wished Muslims a blessed Eid Mubarak, “May Allah accept our prayers and sacrifices.”
