MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, a partner of the Dangote Refinery, has announced an upward review of its pump price for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), with prices now ranging from ₦925 to ₦955 per litre across the country.
The adjustment was disclosed via a revised pricing template posted on the company’s official X account on Saturday.
According to the update, petrol will now retail at ₦925 per litre in Lagos, ₦935 in the South-west, ₦945 in Abuja and the North-central, ₦955 in the North-east and North-west, and ₦955 in the South-east—marking a significant increase from the previous ₦825 to ₦895 range.
In Lagos and Abuja specifically, the new prices reflect a hike from ₦875 and ₦895, respectively, to ₦925 and ₦945.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has maintained its PMS pump prices at ₦875 in Lagos and ₦895 in Abuja as of Saturday evening.
This development follows a broader trend among petroleum marketers adjusting pump prices in response to rising global crude oil costs, largely attributed to geopolitical tensions arising from the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict.
