
Bilqis Jumoke Sanni, Executive Director of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), congratulates Hon. Olabanji Olayemi Olateju, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Kwara South on his recent appointment as a member of the Board of Directors of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Sanni described Hon. Olabanji as a seasoned lawmaker and accomplished technocrat whose extensive experience in legislative governance and grassroots politics will greatly benefit Nigeria’s maritime sector.

“Hon. Olabanji’s appointment to the NPA board is a round peg in a round hole. It’s a strategic move to inject experienced political leadership into the management of Nigeria’s maritime assets, which is a critical sector for the nation’s economy” she said.
Sanni expressed confidence that he would bring his trademark diligence, innovation, and commitment to national development into his new role on the NPA board.
She prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and continued success for Hon. Olabanji as he embarks on what she described as an “important national assignment.”
