Ajase-Ipo Descendants Union Celebrates Olupo HRM Oba Ismail Abolaji Atoloye Alebiosu on 4th Anniversary, Lists Achievements

The Ajase-Ipo Descendants Union (ADU), led by its National President, Alhaji Maruf Musa, has celebrated the 4th coronation anniversary of the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Barrister Ismail Abolaji Yahaya Muhammed Atoloye Alebiosu

The Union leadership hailed the monarch’s impactful reign and listing numerous developmental strides witnessed under his reign.

Speaking on behalf of the union, the National PRO, Hon. Monsuru Alabi Balogun, described Oba Alebiosu as a monarch who has “brought dignity, unity, and progressive partnerships” to the ancient town, leveraging his position to attract development across critical sectors.

In a statement released to the press, the union outlined over two dozen community-centered projects and interventions that have shaped the town’s present and positioned it for a better future.

Some of the key achievements listed include:
1. Installation of motorized boreholes in different neighbourhoods
2. Construction of 18 classrooms at GDSS Ajase-Ipo through Alh. Lai Mohammed
3. Additional classrooms through Hon. Tunji Ajulo-Opin and KW-SUBEB
4. Establishment of junior secondary arms in key primary schools
4. Comprehensive renovation of primary health centres
5. Provision of solar-powered street lighting
6. Renovation of the Olupo’s Palace main hall by Sen. Lola Ashiru
7. Upgrading of Kaara Market with World Bank support
8. Establishment of police and FRSC posts, Civil Defence Corps office
9. Construction of a combined Nigeria Police Area Command and Divisional HQ
10. Ongoing rehabilitation of the Ajase-Ipo/Oyun water works
11. Major road reconstructions and link-road projects
12. Launch of “Keke Olupo” and “Oko Olupo” motor tricycles
13. Donation of security vehicles and infrastructure for NSCDC and Police
14. Establishment of a VIO and KWIRS office
15. Construction of an ultra-modern High Court division in Ajase-Ipo
16. Renovation and interlocking of the New Central Mosque
17. Development of the Cottage Hospital’s emergency unit and mosque

The union noted that these milestones were achieved through collaborative efforts between the palace, public office holders, corporate supporters, and community leaders, stressing the importance of collective progress.

The union thereafter expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for sustaining the monarch and the people of Ajase-Ipo, praying for continued peace, unity, and prosperity under Oba Alebiosu’s reign.

Alhaji Maruf Musa, in his message, praised the monarch’s ability to mobilize resources, inspire unity, and lead with wisdom.

“Oba Alebiosu is not just a traditional ruler but a visionary whose leadership has become a rallying point for all Ajase-Ipo indigenes, both at home and abroad. We are proud of what we have achieved together in just four years,” he said.

The ADU subsequently urged all sons and daughters of Ajase-Ipo to remain united in the pursuit of development and harmony.

“The journey continues,” Hon. Balogun added. “With His Majesty at the helm, we are confident that Ajase-Ipo’s best days lie ahead.”
