Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, a former Lagos State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has pledged unwavering support to secure President Bola Tinubu’s re-election for a second term in 2027.

Speaking during a rally to mark his official return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ojo area of Lagos State on Friday, Jandor expressed confidence that Tinubu would transform Nigeria if re-elected.

Jandor had announced his resignation from the PDP and rejoined the APC on March 3. He attributed his return to the ruling party to the impactful policies introduced by Tinubu’s administration, which he described as people-focused and transformative.

He noted that Tinubu’s recent decisions, including the removal of the fuel subsidy, demonstrated selflessness and a commitment to national progress, even at political risk.

“Tinubu’s removal of the fuel subsidy shows he is a selfless leader. He could have maintained the status quo to secure a second term, but he chose the path of national interest,” Jandor stated.

The former PDP candidate emphasized that he and his supporters would do everything within their power to ensure Tinubu’s victory in 2027, adding that their priority is to support his efforts to further reposition the country.

“We are committed to seeing him return in 2027 to continue the work of repositioning Nigeria,” he affirmed.
