The Reconciliation Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Offa Local Government, established by the Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South, Arc. Oyelola Yisa Ashiru, continued its engagement tour today, extending its outreach to additional communities in Shawo Central Ward.
Following Tuesday’s visit to polling units in Ile Onibode, Ile Ajia Abudu, Ile Bolude, and Ile Ikolaba, the committee today visited Ile Osolo, Ile Alubata in the Oke Oro area, another key location in Oke Oro, and Ile Agbeja.
The team is saddled with the mission of fostering unity and resolving internal grievances among party members.
Notable among the committee members are Hon. Abubakar Rabi Ola Adedoyin, the APC Vice Chairman in Offa LG. Other committee members include APC Ward Chairmen from Ojomu South East, Ojomu Central A, and Eesa A Wards; Hon. Abdulsalam Babatunde Sheriffdeen, Councillor for Shawo Central Ward and Chairman of the Health Committee at the Offa Local Government Council; and Offa APC Treasurer, Hon. Taofeek Omoluabi Kanjuko.
The committee moved from polling unit to polling unit, engaging grassroots members in dialogue, listening to concerns, and reaffirming the party’s commitment to internal harmony.
The outreach forms part of Senator Ashiru’s broader strategy to consolidate the APC’s strength in Kwara South ahead of future electoral cycles, ensuring that no member or faction is left unheard.
Further visits to other wards are expected in the coming days.
