All three senators from Osun State elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have reportedly declared their full support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
The endorsement was made under the banner of the Osun State Senators’ Caucus of the PDP, following a strategic meeting held in Abuja.
In a joint statement signed by Senator Kamarudeen Lere Oyewumi (Osun West), Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunla (Osun Central), and Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi (Osun East), the lawmakers expressed their unwavering backing for President Tinubu, describing him as their “sole and legitimate presidential candidate” for the next general election.
The senators praised the President’s economic policies and infrastructure initiatives, crediting them for tangible improvements in national security and a significant reduction in food prices. They described Tinubu’s leadership as “visionary” and said their constituencies remain firmly behind his administration.
“We are proud to stand with a leader who is transforming Nigeria with purposeful governance. This endorsement is not symbolic—it reflects our genuine confidence in President Tinubu’s performance and our commitment to his continued leadership,” the statement read.
The senators urged the President to sustain his development agenda and deliver even greater progress for the country.
