Kwara: Dele Shittu Foundation Celebrates JAMB Successes of Sponsored Candidates

The Dele Shittu Foundation (DSF) is basking in the success of its educational intervention, as several beneficiaries of its 2025 JAMB scholarship programme posted outstanding results in the recently released Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) scores.

Speaking on behalf of the foundation, Dr. Lanre Shittu, the Chairman of DSF, expressed delight at the performance of the candidates through the Foundation’s Manager, Mr. Toyeeb Ibrahim (MBA).

Among the celebrated high scorers is Muhammad Aminat Edogi, who recorded an impressive 288. Other beneficiaries who made notable marks include Obiniwa Opeyemi Victoria with 261, Olatunbosun Christianah Oluwatoyin who scored 218, Abdulkareem Nimat with 213, and Sulyman Zainab Ejide with 142.

Dr. Shittu described the results as a “testament to the transformative power of access and opportunity,” reaffirming the foundation’s commitment to education and youth empowerment across Kwara State and beyond.

“These achievements validate the purpose of our intervention. We are not just sponsoring JAMB forms, we are investing in the future of our children,” he stated.

The Dele Shittu Foundation had earlier this year sponsored 2,000 JAMB candidates across the three senatorial districts of Kwara State in a bid to ease financial barriers and improve access to higher education.

The foundation’s gesture, which attracted widespread commendation, was targeted at bright but financially disadvantaged students. With the latest results, the initiative has now yielded tangible dividends, as many of the candidates are well-positioned to pursue admission into Nigeria’s top tertiary institutions.

As DSF celebrates this milestone, the foundation has called on other well-meaning individuals and organizations to support similar educational causes, noting that “when we lift our youths, we secure our future.”
