Adam Ramey, lead vocalist of the American rap-rock band Dropout Kings, has died by suicide.
The tragic incident occurred on Monday, May 19, 2025, following what family members described as a “long and painful battle with addiction.”
The band confirmed his passing in an emotional tribute shared on social media, stating, “We share that our brother, Adam Ramey, has passed away.”
A GoFundMe page launched by Ramey’s sister-in-law revealed the cause of death and is raising funds to support his 18-month-old son, Jude, and his wife, Jamie.
As of Wednesday, May 21, the fundraiser had gathered over $40,760 toward its $60,000 goal.
