Controversial street-hop artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly called out Afrobeats star Burna Boy for ignoring his attempts to reach out after gifting him N20 million.
According to Portable, the generous gesture came after his victory over fellow artist Speed Darlington in a celebrity boxing match held in Lagos. However, the singer insists that monetary support isn’t enough — he’s now hoping for a musical collaboration with the Grammy winner.
In a video making the rounds on social media, Portable expressed frustration that Burna Boy has not responded to his direct messages or answered his calls.
“Burna Boy gave me N20 million, but he won’t reply to my DMs on Instagram, pick my calls, or even link up with me,” he said. “I don’t even have his number. The N20 million will finish — what I really need is a verse. Why are you so stingy with your replies?”
