Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has strongly condemned the recent deadly attacks on the communities of Ruwi, Manguna, Daffo, Josho, and Hurti in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, which claimed numerous lives.
Describing the attacks as “senseless and barbaric,” the Speaker expressed outrage over the killings, injuries, and destruction of property, calling the tragedy “one too many.”
While commiserating with the families of the victims, Abbas urged security agencies to swiftly apprehend and prosecute those responsible, stressing that unchecked impunity would only lead to further bloodshed.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Plateau State and prayed for the peaceful repose of the victims and strength for their grieving families.
