As part of their ongoing mobilization efforts in support of Senator Mallam Saliu Mustapha’s 2027 governorship ambition, the Kwara North Chapter of MSM Titans paid a courtesy visit to the Chiroma of Kaima, Alhaji Abubakar Moh’d Tukur Omar, at his residence on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
The visit, which preceded the MSM Titans’ political symposium held later in the day, was led by the State Convener of the movement, Shehu Afunja, along with other high-ranking members of the group.
The delegation included Yusuf Tajudeen (Kwara South Coordinator), Elelu NK (Ilorin West LG Coordinator), Hon. Yinusa Jamiu Olayinka (popularly known as Gomih), Abiola Abidemi, Jubril Hawawu (Edu LG Woman Leader), Hammed Mohammed Ndagi (Edu LG Coordinator), and Hammed Abubakar Sodiq (Ward 1 Coordinator, Edu LG).
In his remarks, Shehu Afunja described the Chiroma as a “selfless community developer who loves Kaima more than anyone else.”
He noted that the purpose of the visit was to seek his blessings, deepen mutual understanding, and create synergy in their quest to promote Senator Saliu Mustapha as a worthy candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial race in Kwara State.
“We should let people know that MSM TITAN is an ideological and self-sponsored movement. Our belief in Mallam Saliu Mustapha’s vision and leadership style prompted our emergence and our mobilization across Kwara State,” Afunja stated during the visit.
The Chiroma of Kaima, in his warm welcome, commended the delegation for their unity, vision, and respect for traditional leadership.
He assured the group of his continued support for causes that promote development, equity, and community advancement.
The visit also included engagements with other respected community stakeholders such as Seriki Dusigogo (Buba), Seriki Tivi (Nuku), Yerima Kura Gbenekpata, Mallam Audu Kwadolizami, and Alhaji Bala, reflecting MSM TITAN’s grassroots-oriented strategy in building support across all strata of society.
The courtesy visit set the tone for the successful symposium that followed later in the day, themed “Mallam Saliu Mustapha: The Panacea of Development.”
