The Vice Chairperson of Offa Local Government Council, Hon. Mrs. Dupe Ajibade (née Olawoyin), has issued a public disclaimer regarding her attendance at a political stakeholders’ meeting convened on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, by Hon. Gbenga Yusuf J.K and Hon. Seun Ogunniyi (Adato) at the Offa Descendants’ Union (ODU) Secretariat.
In a statement personally signed and released to the press, Hon. Ajibade clarified that her presence at the meeting was based on the assumption that due process, in accordance with the constitution of the All Progressives Congress (APC), had been followed in organizing the event.
HERE IS HER FULL STATEMENT
I Hon.Mrs Dupe Ajibade(Nee-Olawoyin) wishes to state that my attendance at the stakeholders engagement convened on Tuesday 22nd April,2025 at the ODU Secretariat by Hon.Gbenga Yusuf J.K and Hon.Seun Ogunniyi (Adato), was done on assumption that due party process was followed.
Upon my realization that the engagement does not conform with constitution of our party,I admitted that my attendance was erroneous and any action or in action by me arising therefrom is highly regretted.
I re-affirmed my loyalty to the Executive Governor of Kwara State Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq and my immediate boss,Hon.Suleiman Olatunji.
I pledged my support to the party structure in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities.
