Veteran Nigerian musician, 2Face Idibia, has finally addressed his mother’s recent claim that he was kidnapped.
A few weeks ago, a video surfaced on social media in which 2Face’s mother alleged that the singer was missing and had been abducted. Her claims stirred controversy, especially as they emerged amid speculation surrounding 2Face’s rumored divorce.
Breaking his silence during a recent performance at a comedy show hosted by Acapella, the music icon responded with sarcasm.
“Allegedly, I’ve been missing. Allegedly, I’ve been kidnapped,” 2Face joked on stage. “So, this show is actually to raise money for the ransom so the kidnappers can release me.”
NEWS BULLETIN reports that the singer has been seen in public on multiple occasions since the initial missing person claim.
