
In a significant milestone for grassroots entrepreneurship and community-driven leadership, the Ikorodu Business Owners Association officially inaugurated its new executive council on Wednesday, April 17, 2025, following a successful democratic election process.
The election, which was organized and conducted by the association’s electoral committee, saw active participation from members across various business sectors in Ikorodu.
The newly elected officials have been entrusted with the responsibility of steering the affairs of the association for the next administrative term.
The leadership team comprises entrepreneurs from diverse industries, reflecting the dynamic and enterprising spirit of the Ikorodu business community.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by members of the association, community stakeholders, and supporters, who commended the peaceful and transparent election process.
In his inaugural speech, President Afeez Adewale Idris expressed gratitude to the members for their confidence and pledged to work collaboratively with his team to promote business growth, unity, and innovation within the Ikorodu business ecosystem.
