The Founder of HMA Foundation, Honourable Moshood Adeleke, has extended condolences to His Royal Majesty, Oba Mufutau Muhammad Gbadamosi Okikiola Esuwoye II, Ajagungbade I, the Olofa of Offa, over the passing of his beloved mother, Alhaja Hawawu Awele Gbadamosi (Iya Ijebu).

In a condolence message made available to the press today, Hon. Adeleke described the late matriarch as a woman of great virtue, compassion, and dignity whose influence extended far beyond the walls of the royal household.

“Mama Iya Ijebu was a shining example of motherhood, grace, and piety. Her life was marked by unwavering faith, kindness, and an enduring commitment to the well-being of others. She raised a monarch of exceptional wisdom and leadership, and her legacy will continue to live on through her children and generations after her,” he stated.

Hon. Adeleke commiserated with the Olofa-in-Council, the royal family, and the entire Gbadamosi family, including both the nuclear and extended members, urging them to take solace in the remarkable life she lived and the positive impact she made.

He prayed that Almighty Allah forgives her shortcomings, accepts her soul into Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and grants the family and the good people of Offa the strength to bear the loss.
