Controversial crossdresser Bobrisky has retracted his earlier claim of being arrested by immigration authorities, revealing that the post was merely an April Fools’ Day prank.
The social media personality had sparked concern with a post suggesting he had been taken into custody without knowing the reason. He wrote: “Guys, I have just been arrested by immigration in Nigeria. I don’t know what I did o.”
Despite admitting it was a joke, Bobrisky’s legal history remains a topic of discussion. He has previously faced legal troubles, including an arrest at the Seme border.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) had confirmed an arrest, stating Bobrisky was a “person of interest” in an ongoing investigation. However, details surrounding the case remain unclear.
