
In a ceremonious and spiritually uplifting event held on Sunday, April 20, 2025, Alhaji (Prince) AbdulKhalik Kehinde Oladimeji Adegboye was officially inaugurated as the new Chairman of the Nasrul-Lahi-l-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), Kwara Zone.
The inauguration ceremony marked a new chapter for the Islamic faith-based organization in Kwara State, with a fresh set of executive leaders taking the mantle of service.
The well-attended event drew the presence of dignitaries from the National Executive Council of NASFAT, prominent Muslim scholars, members from state and zonal branches, and well-wishers from across the region, reaffirming the society’s enduring commitment to Islamic propagation, unity, and human development.
In his heartfelt welcome address, Alhaji Adegboye expressed deep gratitude to Allah (SWT) and acknowledged the trust placed in him and his team by members of the organization.
He pledged unwavering dedication to the advancement of NASFAT’s mission in the areas of spiritual growth, education, socio-economic empowerment, and community service.
“This occasion marks not just a change in leadership, but a renewal of our collective commitment to the vision and mission of NASFAT—anchored on Islamic propagation through education, empowerment, and spiritual upliftment,” Alhaji Adegboye stated.
He further emphasized the need for collaboration among all stakeholders, calling for continued support towards key projects such as the completion of the NASFAT Zonal Secretariat in Ilorin and the NASFAT Model College in Offa.
Acknowledging the groundwork laid by his predecessor, Alhaji Abdulkareem Sagaya, Adegboye assured members of his readiness to build on the legacies of past administrations and foster inclusive, transparent, and impactful leadership.
