Adimula FC emerged as the champion of the Oluomo MOK Ramadan 7-Aside Football Competition, securing a dominant 4-1 victory over Kuye FC in the final match held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the CAC Field, Alubata-Ojurin, Offa, Kwara State.
The highly anticipated final match saw Kuye FC take an early lead, but Adimula FC responded in style, leveling the score before halftime through a well-placed goal by midfielder Latayi.
The second half witnessed an impressive comeback, with Adimula FC netting three more goals to seal their emphatic 4-1 win.
The competition, which began during the 2025 Ramadan, was sponsored by Qs Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, the Principal Partner of Luxiar Construction Limited and the founder of the MOK Foundation.
The tournament featured numerous teams from Offa and its environs, providing a platform for young footballers to showcase their talents.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Olalekan Isioye Afuye, the tournament organizer, praised Qs Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode for his continued investment in youth development through sports.
“This competition has not only entertained football lovers but has also served as a platform for talent discovery and self-actualization. We appreciate Qs Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode for his commitment to empowering the youth,” he stated.
The final match was graced by Chief Musbau Olalekan Olaniyi, the Aare Bobajiroro of Offa and CEO of Zeems Sports Arena.
Qs Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode was represented at the event by Mr. Moshood Tewogbola and Mr. Nurudeen Muhammad.
To celebrate outstanding performances, cash prizes were awarded to the highest goal scorer, best goalkeeper, fair play team, most recognized team, and the top two teams.
The Oluomo MOK Ramadan 7-Aside Football Competition reinstated reinforced the role of sports in uniting communities and fostering youth development in Offa, and Kwara State at large.
