Chairman and CEO of Solutions FM, Ibadan, Olooye Adegboyega Adegoke, has commenced consultations with key figures in the Oyo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as speculations grow about his political ambitions for the 2027 governorship race.
Adegoke recently met with prominent PDP leaders at the Ikolaba residence of Chief Wole Oyelese, Co-Chairman of the PDP Elders’ Council.
In attendance were notable party stalwarts including Chairman of the Elders’ Council and PDP Board of Trustees member, Dr. Saka Balogun; Chief Hamid Gbadamosi and Chief Jacob Adetoro, both from Oke-Ogun; Prince Sunday Ogunlade from Oyo; and Chief Nureni Akanbi, among others.
Though the details of the meeting were not disclosed, political observers interpret the closed-door session as part of Adegoke’s early moves to secure backing for a possible governorship bid in 2027.
None of the attendees spoke to the press, maintaining silence on the purpose of the gathering, further fueling speculation about the unfolding political developments within the state.
