A woman was tragically killed in a train accident along the Gwagwa-Idu railway line in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Monday.
Police sources revealed that the victim was found unconscious on the tracks behind Zeberced Company, with injuries typical of a train-related incident.
“Our officers were quickly dispatched to the scene after receiving the report, where they discovered the woman with severe head trauma and broken legs,” the source said.
She was rushed to Kubwa General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead by medical staff.
Her body has been moved to the hospital’s mortuary for an autopsy, while authorities work to identify her and notify her family.
