As Muslims worldwide mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan with the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration, the Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South, Architect Oyelola Yisa Ashiru, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah.

In his goodwill message, Senator Ashiru emphasized the importance of sustaining the virtues of Ramadan, including prayer, self-discipline, and compassion, to foster an equitable and harmonious society.

He commended Muslims for their devotion throughout the month-long spiritual exercise and urged them to continue upholding the values of unity, patience, and generosity beyond the fasting period.

The lawmaker also encouraged believers to use the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration as a time for deep reflection and continued prayers for Nigeria’s peace, stability, and economic growth.

He specifically urged Muslims to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through prayers and constructive engagement, as the nation seeks solutions to its emerging challenges.

“While thanking Allah and congratulating Muslims on successfully completing the Ramadan fast, I call for collective support for the less privileged in society, ensuring that the spirit of giving and kindness remains alive beyond Ramadan,” Ashiru stated.

He further prayed that Allah’s blessings be upon all devout Muslims in Kwara South and across the nation, wishing them a joyous and spiritually fulfilling Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.
