
Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday that the crescent moon of Shawwal has been sighted, signaling the end of Ramadan.
As a result, Eid al-Fitr will be observed on Sunday, March 30, 2025, marking the start of the new Islamic month.
The announcement was made on the official Facebook page of Haramain, a key platform for the global Muslim community.
“The crescent moon for the month of Shawwal 1446 was sighted in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday, March 30, 2025,” the statement read.
