Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the former president of the 8th Senate, has extended his heartfelt condolences to QS Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode in the wake of his mother’s passing.
Alhaja Sariyu Aduni Okunlola, a beloved matriarch, who departed this life on the 21st of March 2025, leaving behind a profound void for her family and community.
In a heartfelt message shared on his official Facebook page, Saraki expressed his sorrow and solidarity with MOK and the entire Okunlola family of Offa. He acknowledged the irreplaceable role a mother plays in one’s life, stating, “Losing a mother leaves a space no one else can fill.” Saraki offered prayers for the deceased, asking Allah (SWT) to forgive her shortcomings and grant her eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus, the highest paradise.
He concluded his message with a wish for strength and peace for the Okunlola family during this challenging time. “May He bless you and your family with strength, peace, and patience as you navigate through this period of grief,” Saraki remarked, emphasizing the importance of unity and support in times of loss.
