Controversial streamer Peller has alleged that he is facing death threats after calling on Nigerians to halt the #30DayRants challenge on TikTok.
The challenge, which encourages criticism of poor governance, has gained traction online. However, Peller warned that continued participation could lead to a ban on the platform in Nigeria, potentially affecting his source of income.
During a recent livestream, he claimed that some individuals had threatened to harm him in the same manner his fellow content creator, Oloba Salo, was shot in Lekki last year.
“I have been receiving death threats,” Peller said. “Some people threatened to shoot me like they shot Salo in Lekki Phase 1. They told me to watch my back when going out. What is all this? I’m not talking again. Goodbye.”
