The Muyideen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation congratulates the management, staff, and stakeholders of Lens University, Ilemona, Kwara State, on the landmark achievement of securing approval from the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Speaking on behalf of the foundation, its Director, Mr. Saheed Lawal, commended the visionary leadership and relentless commitment that have led to this historic milestone.
He emphasized that the approval of Lens University is a major step towards strengthening the educational sector, expanding access to quality higher learning, and fostering academic excellence in Kwara State and beyond.
“We at the MOK Foundation are immensely proud of this achievement. This is a significant moment, not only for Lens University but for the entire Offa and Ilemona communities and Kwara State as a whole.
” We also extend our congratulations to the proprietors of the university, Dr. Azeez Issa Bukky, FCA, and Abdulazeez Isahq, for their resilience and dedication in seeing this vision become a reality. Their unwavering commitment to education and human capital development is truly commendable.”
Mr. Lawal also acknowledged and appreciated the contributions of key stakeholders who played vital roles in securing this approval, including the Olofa of Offa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mufutau Muhammad Gbadamosi Esuwoye II; the Onijagbo of Ijagbo, Oba Sarafadeen Adeniyi Buhari Balalola; the Attorney General of the Federation, Prince Lateef Fagbemi; the Offa Descendants’ Union (ODU); the Asiwaju of Offa, Alhaji Tajudeen Owoyemi; Offa Professors Association, led by Prof. Bayo Lawal; and numerous other esteemed individuals.
“Lens University is set to be a beacon of knowledge, innovation, and research. Its establishment will create opportunities for young Nigerians, drive socio-economic development, and further strengthen Kwara State’s reputation as a hub for academic excellence.
