Founded in March 2023 by QS Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, the MOK Foundation has made a remarkable transition from a local non-governmental organization (NGO) to a recognized international entity, boasting an impressive track record of achievements across diverse sectors and initiatives. The Foundation’s approach encompasses a broad spectrum of humanitarian efforts, positioning it as a leader in promoting sustainable development and social equity.
In remarks delivered during the anniversary celebration, QS Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode expressed profound gratitude to Allah for guiding the organization through its journey thus far. He took the opportunity to extend heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders, including volunteers, supporters, and community members, for their unwavering dedication to the Foundation’s mission. “The accomplishments we have realized at MOK Foundation over the past two years exceed my expectations and aspirations; they are a testament to the will of Allah. Our primary goal is to bring joy and opportunity to as many individuals as possible. I am deeply appreciative of every member of my team, as their commitment and hard work have been instrumental to our success,” he stated.
Mr. Lawal Temitope Saheed, the Executive Director of the MOK Foundation, described the journey thus far as an impactful adventure marked by proactive responses to community needs. He elaborated, “Our educational support initiatives have laid a strong foundation for students, fostering brighter futures through scholarships, mentoring, and academic resources. In the realm of healthcare, our assistance has restored hope to the sick by providing access to essential medical services and wellness programs. Furthermore, our agricultural empowerment initiatives have significantly enhanced food security within communities, while our focus on sports development has provided a vital platform for young talents to excel and showcase their abilities. We have empowered countless youth, delivered critical infrastructural support, and played a pivotal role in enhancing community security.
