Hon. Abdulwaheed Gbenga Yusuf JK, the Kwara State House of Assembly member representing Eesa/Shawo/Igboidun Constituency in Offa Local Government, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imam, praising her dedication, intellect, and service to Kwara State.
In his message, Hon. Yusuf JK described Dr. El-Imam as “a woman of excellence, a dedicated public servant, and a brilliant academic whose contributions to healthcare and education have been remarkable.”
He commended her unwavering commitment to improving the state’s health sector, saying, “Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imam has brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Kwara State Ministry of Health. Her leadership, vision, and hard work continue to strengthen our healthcare system, ensuring better services for our people.
“She is not only a Commissioner but also a role model for many aspiring scientists and leaders. Her achievements in academia and public service prove that dedication and hard work yield great success,” he stated.
Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imam, a distinguished Nigerian microbiologist, academic, and politician, is a native of Offa and a senior lecturer at the University of Ilorin, specializing in food and industrial microbiology. She earned her Ph.D. in Biological Systems and Organisms from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, in 2017, after obtaining a Master’s degree in the same field from Ahmadu Bello University in 2007 and a Bachelor’s degree from the same institution in 2003.
As she celebrates her birthday, Hon. Yusuf JK prayed for her continued success and well-being.
“On this special day, I wish Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imam long life, good health, and more accomplishments. May she continue to serve with wisdom and strength, bringing more progress to our dear state,” he concluded.
