
The Chairman of the House Committee on Works and Transport and Kwara State House of Assembly Member representing Essa Shawo Igboidun Constituency, Honourable JK, hosted the party’s stakeholders from Igboidun Ward to receive a first-hand report on the party’s activities, identify existing challenges, and fine-tune the way forward for the unity, progress, and development of the party.
In his address, Honourable JK commended all the party stakeholders for their loyalty and commitment to the progress and development of the party.
“This meeting is necessary to appraise our party’s activities in Igboidun Ward and strengthen its dominance at the grassroots level,” he stated.
In their various remarks, the stakeholders expressed deep appreciation to the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, elected representatives, party stalwarts, and the entire leadership of the party for their dedication to the party’s growth.
The Ward Chairman, Hon. Alabi Wasiu Adekunle, observed that no representative from Igboidun is currently part of the Offa Local Government Executive of the party, which is a grave concern for all members of the ward.
He urged the party leadership and stakeholders to correct this anomaly and ensure the inclusion of Igboidun in the Local Executive of the party.
They also reiterated their unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of the party.
The Ward Chairman, Hon. Alabi Wasiu Adekunle, and Councilor Hon. Rasheed Toheeb expressed their appreciation to Honourable JK for his significant contributions to the development of the constituency.
The meeting was attended by the Councilor of Igboidun Ward, Hon. Rasheed Toheeb; the Ward Chairman, Hon. Alabi Wasiu Adekunle; former Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture, Hon. Sanusi Ramat Oluwatoyin; Hon. Sarafa Adebayo Adebayo; and Elder Salami Babatunde.
The meeting concluded with prayers for the continued success of His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, and all the leaders of our great party.
